Fall, Fall, Fall!!

Fashion & Fall at Lulu's!

The air is getting cooler. Leaves are just starting to fall. The days aren't as muggy & hot. The sun is setting earlier. As all of these things begin to happen, it is a sure sign that fall is fast approaching! Tomorrow, September 23, is the official start of fall! At Lulu's, we are celebrating the beginning of fall with fabulous boots, chunky sweaters, and the perfect accessories...scarves, socks, and jewels!! Our amazing Big Buddahs are in at Lulu's, as well. 90210 Day!

Today is September 2, 2010. Otherwise known as, 9/02/10! Today is 90210 day!! For everyone at Lulu's, this is very exciting! 90210 is our favorite television show, and we watch it religiously! The fabulous show is full of exciting twists and unexpected happenings. At Lulu's, we try to carry items that are exciting & different from anything else--just like 90210! Also, the characters of 90210 are always dressed in THE most amazing outfits, just like our Lulu's girls!!

For the past few weeks, the shoes have had a great end-of-summer vacation! We traveled to the beach for a great week of fun & fabulousness!! The shoes played a great game of putt-putt. With the help of the awesome purple shoes, I won the putt-putt game!! Later, the wedges met some cute, tiny toes!! The wedges had a great time dining at Divine's Fish House!! We enjoyed great food & company. Later in the week, we gave the purple wedges the first rest they've had in a while!! I wore a great pair of wedges from my new neighbor store, Klick!! The Klick wedges also met with the purple wedges' old friends, Jack Rogers, from Rambo's!! This summer has been tons of fun, & the purple wedges have followed myself, & many other fabulous ladies through it!! The awesome wedges proved that you don't have to wear flip flops everywhere you go!! Now, as we move on to the fall/winter season, the wedges will rest & get ready for Spring/Summer 2011! Until then, fabulous ladies can enjoy Lulu's amazing boots, made by the same designer as the purple wedges! I'm sure these boots will follow us through the fall/winter season, and be our new go-to shoe! Meanwhile, look out for our new blog series "These Boots Are Made For Walking!" It will be coming soon!!

These past two weeks, the purple shoes had many adventures! First, a relaxing night at a friend's house. We talked and laughed, & had tons of fun!! The next night, the purple shoes met a new friend, Jack Rogers. Jack's are the "flat" equivalent to the purple wedges! You can wear them anywhere! Jack Rogers are sold at Rambo's in Hartsville! Later in the week, the shoes accompanied Cal & I to the Drivin' 'n Cryin' concert! Everyone had a blast, and we got to meet the band! The guitarist even took a picture of the cute shoes! A few days later, we went to Monticello, Virginia for a family trip. We learned all about Thomas Jefferson and how to travel with tons of women!! Tune in for next week!!

This week, the purple wedges took us to 11-year old, Marion's birthday party!! At the party, the girls received make-overs and had a fabulous fashion show/photo shoot at the end!! The party was tons of fun, and all of the girls loved the wedges!! Later in the week, the wedges & I traveled to Riverbanks Zoo, in Columbia. The animals were amazingly beautiful! Most people had flip flops, but why wear anything else when you can wear your purple wedges?

This week, the purple wedges started out at a benefit chicken bog for Garrison Murph. Everyone, once again, was surprised to see that the purple wedges were serving "the bog". Why not wear these to raise money for such a sweet little boy!! Then onto SEX AND THE CITY 2 premiere!! The purple wedges have made their debut @ the best fashion night of the year! These shoes should have been in the movie!! Wedges can take you anywhere, such as the Zac Brown concert in Charleston! Move over rainbows, the purple wedges are here to stay.

few weeks ago, I went to Mcleod Farms Strawberry patch with one of my favorite little girls, Eliza Byrd. I have never been, so I dressed in my best and was ready to pick some strawberries. When I got there, lots of moms commented on me wearing my purple wedges ( from Lulu's of course) to pick strawberries. I didn't know any different, because I wear the purples wedges to any and everything. I realized then, that I would start a summer tour with the infamous purple wedges and blog about where they will take me!! Later that night, I ended up @ the Norah Jones concert with the same purple wedges on. I did change my outfit, but some how those wedges still matched my dress. After the show, I had a chance to meet Norah Jones and we chatted a bit about the "purple wedges". What a great day!! I love that I never know what I will be doing or where I will end up!! Make each moment count right?? This summer please enjoy a tour with Lulu's purple wedges and see will they will go next................................................................
